here and kickin’ (or rollin’!).

Twig will be collaborating with the Collectif nënë to put on a Christmas

Baby Fair.

Twig Toys are now at Le Nid de la Cigogne boutique!

as of this spring, you can find twig at Le Nid de la Cigogne located at 268 rue St.Viateur West in Montréal`s mile end neighbourhood.

we`re very excited to be a sold in such a lovely boutique with such lovely ladies running it! next time in you`re in the neighbourhood stocking up on bagels, go and visit!

The spring baby show with the Collectif nënë was a great success! Loads of visitors came by for the one day event that took place on a warm and sunny Saturday afternoon. here are some great pictures for the day…

and just in time for Mother’s Day, Collectif NËNË is holding our first ever Spring Baby Show featuring 11 Montreal-based designers! Not your average baby show, this highly curated show – bright and modern – will act as an exhibition presenting the Collectif’s strongest work.

Stuff your Stockings with Sweet Blocks!

For this Christmas season I’ll be selling some “block bags”! A set of 10 blocks of
mixed types of wood (very colourful!) stuffed into a handmade, unbleached cotton bag.

I’ll be selling them at craft fairs for the 2010 season, $25 each.

Upcoming for Fall + Winter 2010…

Upcoming for fall and winter… I’ll be at the Puces Pop show (Oct.2-3) at Eglise St.Michel, followed by the Westmount Artisan Show at Victoria Hall on Sherbrooke St.W (Nov.13-14) and the last show for 2010 will be the Old Skool Craft Fair at Eglise St.Michel (Dec. 11-12).

A new spot to find twig toys is Balouni Enfants on Nuns Island (Iles des Soeurs) at 7 Place de Commerce. Very exciting! That brings the total to 4 baby boutiques and galleries carrying my toys. (not to mention my shop! people are always welcome to come by.)

After a wonderful late summer vacation in British Colombia, I was able to make great contacts with B.C baby boutiques. I hope to have twig in a few by Christmas 2010. fingers crossed!

I also have a new toy called the “rattle stick” which has been a big hit this summer! It’s teething ring meets rattle. Great for little ones.
